Look just to the left of the tip. Is that a chip in the stylus?

Looks like a chip to the left, or is it dirt?

Possibly a drop of aluminum on the tip?

Or just a nice shiny sharp edge?

Shank adapter - Roll pin, Music wire, and a larger roll pine. Soldering iron, then,,,

Small amount of light adhesive to the top of the stylus shank, and boom, it works, but i think it is chipped?
